Privacy Policy

SiestaNoche is an iPhone app and website operated by Giovum ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we handle when you use SiestaNoche and why. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

• Location, only when you ask. If you tap Near me, your phone shares your approximate location once so we can find hotels around you. It is used for that search and is not stored with your identity.
• Searches. When you search a place, we receive its coordinates and time zone to look up tonight's prices. Results may be cached for a few minutes so nearby searches load faster.
• Booking details. When you book, we collect the guest name and email address needed to make and confirm the reservation, and we keep a record of the booking so it appears in Trips.
• Preferences on your device. Your filters, currency, followed city and saved trips are stored on your iPhone.

What we never collect

• Your card number. Payments are entered in a secure form provided by our booking partner's certified payment processor. Card details go directly to them and never reach our servers.
• Your contacts, photos or tracking identifiers for advertising. SiestaNoche has no ads and no third party advertising trackers.

Who we share it with

To complete a booking we share the guest name, email and stay details with our hotel booking partner (LiteAPI by Nuitée) and, through them, with the hotel. Payment is processed by their payment provider. We do not sell personal information.

Our servers run on Supabase. Optional push alerts sent through the free ntfy service only contain hotel names and prices.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept as long as needed to support your stay and meet legal and accounting obligations. Search caches expire within minutes. Hotel price history is not linked to any person.

Your choices

You can turn off location access at any time in iPhone Settings and still search by city. To access or delete booking information we hold about you, email privacy@siestanoche.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

SiestaNoche is not directed to children under 16, and bookings must be made by an adult.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
